However, sweating can be a sign that your fridge is working too hard or too little. Before giving your fridge the boot, first, check the rubber sealing around the door. Sometimes the sealing goes bad, which can cause the fridge to not be able to regulate temperature. If the sealing is in good condition and the condensation continues, then it’s probably time to look for a new fridge.

Feeling a warm temperature whenever you put your hand on the back of the fridge is normal. However, an excessive amount of heat is an obvious sign that something is wrong with your fridge. Fridge’s coils are insulated, which should prevent you from feeling any excess heat. If you do feel excess heat, it could be that there is a problem with the coils. Obviously, your freezer should be very cold in order to keep foods frozen. However, if you have to start chiseling your ice cream out from under a layer of ice you could have a problem.
